We are here for you
Our counseling center is aimed at all people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Every topic, every question, every problem is welcome. We offer low-threshold, accepting counseling to individuals, relationships, and professionals. Together, we look at how we can support you, listen to you, and provide you with information.
QUEERLIFE*
We are a queer and trans* team and we aim to always work with you as equals. We trust that you know best about your own life and what feels right for you. We see you as an individual, but also as someone connected to friends, family, and all your communities and places.
We know from our own experience that society builds barriers for some people, and this knowledge informs our counseling. Medical and psychological diagnoses don’t define who you are to us. In our counseling, we work against pathologizing and/or criminalizing LGBTQIA+ identities, BIPoC identities, fatness, sex work, kink, and substance use. To us, all the different sides of who you are belong here. We welcome every part of you.

Fae
Fae (they/she) is a psychologist (BSc.) and has been working in the Sonntags-Club counseling position since June 2023. Alongside professional training, her approach to counseling is shaped by her lived experience with invisible disability and gender transition.

Nico
Nico (they/them) is trained in Social Work (B.A.) and Systemic Coaching. Their counseling work grows out of both professional and personal experiences in different kinds of care work, various and ongoing transitions, neurodivergence and chronic illness, and finding ways where there were none. Nico is currently interested in work around grief, self-compassion and somatics. They’re also a bit of a geek and love to be out in the woods.
